Location: Ireland. Colm is a former Chair of the World Universities Debating Council and is an Emeritus Member of Council. He has also served on the European Debating Council and Committee.
He was Deputy Chief Adjudicator at the World Universities Debating Championships (WUDC) and judged at a total of seven world championships.
He has judged the Grand Final, ESL Final and EFL final at the WUDC and has also judged finals at the European Debating Championships. He has judged many local competitions including leading tournaments such as Oxford, Cambridge and World Universities Peace Institute Debate (WUPID).
Colm has judged debating tournaments on five continents over the last 15 years.
Colm was auditor of the University of Limerick Debating Union during his student days and coached the university debate team for a number of years after graduation.
He continues to advise a number of colleges and schools on debating and is the founder and editor of the World Debating Blog at www.debating.ie
